Although we also have a list of local attractions updated on a regular basis, there are often one-off events happening in the local area that we feel you might be interested in attending. many of these have been notified to us by visitors to the site.
We're always happy to receive more information about the events and places that draw you to Cwm Cadnant, so why not help us help other people by giving us reasons to stay here.
March 2008 Mawrth
- 7th - 9th March: The 4th Llanberis Film Festival
April 2008 Ebrill
- 19th April: The European Union Chamber Orchestra are playing at the Galeri, Caernarfon.
May 2008 Mai
- 9th - 11th May: Rail Ale festival on the Welsh Highland Railway.
- 11th May: Race for Life (two races) at the Aberforeshore recreation ground.
June 2008 Mehefin
- 1st June - January 2009: American Dreams - an exhibition about the mass exodus of Welsh Quarrymen to America in the last century.
- 14th & 15th June: The Welsh Castles Relay, organised by Les Croupiers running club - a relay race from Caernarfon to Cardiff over a weekend.
- 19th June - The French Market returns to Caernarfon, on Y Maes.
- 24th & 25th June: Jane O'Dwyer is organising a Wildlife Photography workshop, based in Trigonos.
- 27th June - 5th July: The Y Felinheli Festival
- 29th June - 1st Caernarfon Scout Group are holding a Duck race along the Afon Cadnant.
July 2008 Gorffennaf
- 1st July - Bangor City Male Voice Choir at St John's, Llandudno.
- 5th July - Beating the Retreat and Veterans' Day, on Slate Quay and Caernarfon Castle.
- 16th & 17th July: Jane O'Dwyer is organising a Wildlife Photography workshop, based in Trigonos.
- 22nd - 28th July: Caernarfon Festival - to be confirmed.
- 26th July: Ras Yr Wyddfa, running to the top of Snowdon and back in just over the hour.
August 2008 Awst
- 22nd - 25th August: Bryn Terfel's 9th Annual Faenol Festivals. Tickets now on sale
September 2008 Medi
October 2008 Hydref
- 25th October - the Snowdonia Marathon
